Meet the Characters

Burly Blossom Chopsie Grinder Tipper Springer Sage

Burly
This broad-shouldered, big-bellied bear from Cave of Courage spends most of his time watching over the animals and keeping them out of trouble as he tromps through the woods calling out cheerful "hellos" and "good mornings".

Blossom
This skunk from Stinky Stump is known for her unpredictability. With her moody temper you just never quite know what to expect. Will this be a day of grand plans at her clubhouse, one of fierce scowls and bossiness, or perhaps just another day of skunk show-offness? After all, why not show off? Nothing is more beautiful than a wide white strip running down the back of a bushy black tail—at least, that's what Blossom says.

Chopsie
Chopsie tries to bring out the best in others, though not how you would expect. Rather than sound advice, this hardworking beaver from Busy Beaver Creek bosses, commands, and makes demands to force the forest creatures to do what she says. Work, work, work—that’s what she’s about. Of course, there is the occasional game of Tails-n-Such. No beaver, hardworking or not, could resist that…especially one as skilled as Chopsie.

Grinder
Grinder is another hardworking beaver. In fact, he's Chopsie's very best friend. But unlike Chopsie, he's used to accepting orders rather than giving them, and instead of being brave, he tends to frighten easily. It doesn't take much to send Grinder into a tizzy of nervousness, complete with quivering whiskers and thumping tail.

Tipper
Tipper, the speedy little squirrel from Great Pine, is the first animal in Principle Woods to scamper for adventure, take a dare, or run a risk. He's silly, he's zany, and usually he's a bit reckless. But if you're looking for fun, Tipper will never let you down.

Springer
Springer, the chubby bunny from Sweet Bunnies Burrow, is sure there's nothing better than just having a good time. Of course, work occasionally gets in the way and Springer does so dislike that. Getting out of work with a few little tricks never seems to be a problem though, and really, what harm can a little mischief do?

Sage
This owl’s great wisdom and knowledge brings out the best in others. From her perch high in Grand Oak, she protects the forest animals the best she can from the dangers of The Land of Out There.
